I just got back into shrimp, and what perfect timing too! I had the fried shrimp po’ boy and it was top notch! Large, juicy shrimp that literally jumped out of the sandwich but I caught em! Came with 2 hush puppies and crinkle cut fries. Great value for the price! I also got a side of fried okra, made to order. I saw them get breaded and fried before my eyes. What a good decision to get the extra side! The cashier recommended a beer for me that “goes with any shrimp dish” and she wasn’t lying! We beat the dinner rush by a few minutes and judging by the line out the door and down the stairs, they’re clearly doing it right here so it wasn’t just my experience. Everyone else seems to love it as well. Will 100% be back the next time I’m in town. And I’m bringing the whole office! Might even try the gator on the menu
Great fresh fish! It was raining when we went and there was still a line to get in. Fantastic food. Service is good, but more of a self server place. Right on the water and amazing views.
Good food. This is my 2nd time visiting here on vacation. Blackened was my favorite. I think you miss out on the quality of the food by getting it fried. We ordered the blackened red snapper basket, blackened scallops basket, steamed oysters, and steamed and seasoned shrimp. Nothing was a disappointment. The baskets are filling. Hang out by the water after you're done.
I got the red fish blackened style and it was fantastic. You can tell its fresh on the first bite. The location is a bit difficult to find. (Use google maps and you will be fine). Overall a great casual seafood restaurant.
Amazing seafood dinner! Wide selection of fresh cooked seafood. Must be willing to stand in line to place your order at the counter. Once you've seated yourself, either outside on the covered deck overlooking the canal, or in the restaurant, they will bring the food to you. Be ready for large portions of delicious food. They have large tables for big groups, as well as being able to accommodate smaller families. Very kid friendly with high chairs. Good value for the amount and quality of food you receive. We will be going back!
