The room was okay and the balcony had sand all over everything (from the recent storms).
The pool was SMALL and NO FUN. There were only 2 other kids along side of me swimming and there was really no room to swim. We visited the first of October after Hurricane Irma... I don't know if the beach was disgusting due to the hurricane or something else. The ocean looked as if it was washing in by-products from an oil spill. The sand was covered with tiny sticks. I'm from NC and we clean up our beaches QUICKLY. Overall, I would stay here ONLY if on a business and my boss paid for the room.
This is one of the best Courtyard hotels I've been to. It's located directly on the beach and had a very nice nasty bar area of the lobby. I would definitely recommend this location.
The pool was great. The beach was great. The staff was awesome and super helpful!

Very nice hotel rooms. Friendly staff. When we visited here it was for one night because we were too tired to drive back to NC. The room charge was $237 PER NIGHT for 2 double beds. I should have drove another hour to GA for a better deal. We NEVER stay in hotels. We usually rent condos or houses. The 1st room we were placed in had a parking lot view. It was VERY LOUD. People were drunk, loud and we were there to swim, and rest up. Staff was super friendly about moving us to another room. EVEN THOUGH THEY TOLD US THAT THEY HAD ONLY 1 ROOM LEFT when we checked in. :( Liar liar)
We had a booking issue and they were super helpful at the front desk so I gave them an extra star!
Easy parking, easy check-in, accommodating and friendly staff, and the room was very clean and large. The pool was nice and clean, and they had plenty of towels too. We had a gift certificate for 2 free nights and included breakfast, so I can't comment on the cost. Overall, it was a good couple of days!
Cons:: Nearly everything......Just not for me....... would rather spend the money on a place with more privacy.
