STAY AWAY. THERE ARE SO MANY BETTER OPTIONS. THIS GUY HAS BEEN TAKEN OVER BY THE SYSTEM AND HE DOESN'T REALIZE IT. HE IS SWAMPED BY THE SYSTEM AND HASN'T FIGURED IT OUT. YOU ARE ONLY A NUMBER AND $$$$ TO HIM. HE WOULD DENY IT, BUT HE DOES NOT SEEM HIMSELF CLEARLY AT THIS MOMENT. THERE IS HUMANITY IN HIM SOMEWHERE, BUT THE SYSTEM IS TOTALLY COVERING IT UP. HE'S RUSHED, HE JUST WANTS TO GET HOME. HE NEEDS TO SERIOUSLY SELF REFLECT. NO INDIVIDUAL TREATMENT. SLOPPY. CONDESCENDING.
I can't wait until universal health care takes place and these pricks take a hit in the wallet, for once it'll be nice to feel like a true customer of the Dr's and not just another insurance claim.

As is usual with Dr's offices... terrible customer service, horrible patient atmosphere. Not surprised just disappointed. It's really a shame that most Dr's offices think that we owe them something for the 'great' service they provide. I know that I owe them nothing and as a paying customer would expect more support than they give but hey I'm just 1 of a thousand and they obviously don't need my money to stay in business!
I have been a patient of Dr Bass for the last 10 years. Recently I had a colonoscopy preformed by Dr Bass at Beaches Baptist Hospital and unfortunately the results were not the best. Dr Bass did all the additional testing needed to plan the best treatment possible for me. He was straightforward and delivered the information to me in professional and compassionate terms that I could fully understand. He answered all of my questions and took the time to make me as comfortable as possible with my diagnosis. I would recommend Dr Bass to anyone needing a gastrointestinal specialist.

Dr. Bass, despite some high reviews has proven only incomptence in his care for my wife recently. We were told by him that she did NOT have a condition originally thought to have had, yet Dr. Bass prescribed a medication that was for THAT EXACT condition, and within a half hour I had to rush her to the ER as she was near death and in excrutiating pain. She is STILL in pain with no resolve.
