Water parks are always good. This one is worth checking out because they do have unique rides and an enjoyable arcade. Lazer tag, mini gold, and go-kart racing are always good choices as well. I have never had any issues with the staff and the pricing is doable.
We tried the mini-golf, not much to mess up here. But it's just the same 6 foot holes, very poorly maintained and very basic. After this we decided to just go to the arcade inside. Surprisingly it was very hard to spend $10 worth of tokens! Nothing works. I'd say easily 40-50% of games were broken and even more not giving tickets. Finally, in a last effort to have some fun, we wanted to do the batting cages. I don't remember the exact count but out 6 cages, 3 were chained up, softball wasn't working at all and the 3 cages that appeared to be working ending up taking our "tokens". One was in use, the cage I used worked for about 15 pitches (supposed to get 20 pitches per token). Another guest next to us tried the last cage and it didn't work at all.
We took our daughter Saturday night, it was the first and last time we will ever give our money to this place. It's a Saturday night, so first off you would think they would be properly staffed but after paying for our daughter to ride the mini-roller coaster, we along with multiple other people had to hunt someone down in order to get on a ride that they are selling tickets for. The concession stand had one person taking orders. One person handling arcade ticket prizes and nobody in the candy shop.
As long as they have a water park that doesn't make people sick, a haunted house in the fall and kids spending their parent's money nothing will ever change this place. It's blatantly obvious there is no attempt to upkeep this facility or improve on anything they have. As a working family with a kid, there is plenty of higher quality experiences to spend our money on in Jacksonville.
A go to favorite for kids. Can be very packed on weekends so be prepared to have people close to you in the arcade area. Kids love the water park section although I would say as an adult its not as much fun lol. If you want to make the kids have a great weekend or a great birthday party I highly suggest this place.
Cool place! Went during weekday it was amazing! no crowds no lines no waiting! Great Groupon deals - they even had specials going on inside! Go carts were the best! Staff were nice and friendly and available!
It's not even worth your time to try and find anyone in charge because the place is so disorganized and there are so many problems you can tell management does not care the least bit. It's operated by kids that are just there to talk to their friends. The entire time we were there the only people of any authority are the police officers that are just there to police the overwhelming amount of unsupervised kids.
Lots of ants on mini-golf. 3 out of the 18 holes we had to skip all together because they had been overtaken by ants ( especially hole 16)
I want to give it a 5 because it's one of the few fun places to take the kids. However the arcade area is getting pretty ran down, a lot of machines are out of order. I don't know if they are focusing resources on the water park. The laser tag arena and go karts, etc. are satisfactory. If they revamp the arcade I will change to 5.
